Module Suite 3.8 Venus
Like its namesake planet’s brilliant atmosphere, Venus release will illuminate your experience with:
- Simplified Workflow Form Template displaying all workflow activities, comments, and changes, with an integrated PDF viewer supporting annotations. The data source will be fully overridable.
- A meter shower of new UI widgets including Query Builder, Reporting UI Pack, Scheduler and more, to ensure greater UI personalization and flexibility.
- AI-Powered Application Builder. Application Builder is the beloved Module Suite tool that allows to rapidly create applications on Extended ECM with minimal configuration. Thanks to its robust scripting capabilities, we’ve integrated with LLM providers, unlocking a true “low-code” experience, where users would just need to simply describe the desired functionality of their app in plain English.
Module Suite 3.9 Mercury
Swift and dynamic like the solar system’s innermost planet, Mercury brings C.A.R.L 2.0 across all our IDEs. Our AI assistant transforms the creative process, providing powerful support for script writing, editing, and refinement to save time and enhance productivity.
Beyond scripting, C.A.R.L extends its capabilities to implementing business logic and designing UI/UX, from form creation to configuring complete Smart View perspectives and tiles.
But the innovations Mercury brings don’t end here. Our R&D team continues their dedicated efforts to further incorporate AI capabilities within Module Suite and enhance the user experience.

Module Suite will be integrated with Groq, an advanced solution that exels in rapid AI inference, providing technologies that streamline the implementation of large language models (LLMs), delivering superior computational performance and power efficiency.
The integration ensures near-zero latency, enhancing interactive AI applications and driving superior user satisfaction and productivity.
Bringing top-tier support for OpenAI Batch API
By introducing the OpenAI Batch API we’ll be empowering developers to process multiple requests simultaneously, enabling efficient handling of large-scale data operations in a single batch.
This capability is ideal for use cases such as generating responses for multiple inputs at once, moderating extensive datasets, or performing bulk text transformations like summarization and translation.
Module Suite 4.0: The Solar Maximum
Reaching the milestone of Module Suite 4.0, we’re preparing our most radiant update yet, the replacement of the Script Console.
The Script Console has been one of the four key Module Suite components used to support business scenarios where Extended ECM cannot be accessed directly. This includes cases like exposing platform-designed forms to external users without platform access.
In its place, we’re introducing AnswerModules Module Suite CE – a cloud-first framework – by transitioning Module Suite’s API packages into scalable, serverless microservices.
Our vision is to develop Module Suite for OpenText Core Content, a fully cloud-based solution that leverages OpenText Core Cloud APIs.
