Interacting with data
A smart widget empowers users to move, reorder, and drag-and-drop columns, allowing them to easily group, view, and download results based on the applied filters. Action buttons provide immediate access to relevant information (e.g., relationships between recipients and transmittals, related transmittal documents, etc.) and enable the download of specific documents (such as load sheets and cover sheets).

Comprehensive Coverage
Dedicated tabs provide access to data on master projects, individual projects, transmittals, recipients, state flows, document revisions, and more. This design enables users to effortlessly interact with the system, navigating and visualizing content in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.

A specific Business Workspace Updater dashboard lets users actively monitor workspace updates and statuses in real time, tracking progress from Draft to Completed stages.

Update an existing transmittal
Users can seamlessly update or generate a new transmittal directly within the designated document section, without ever leaving the document interface.
If a transmittal needs to be updated, all the user has to do is simply select the documents and associate them with the related transmittal in a single click.

Create a new transmittal
The same forms guides the user through the creation of a new transmittal.
Once all the necessary information about transmittal purpose, date, delivery method and recipients are selected and the form is submitted, the transmittal will be simultaneously created and sent.

Mass update documents section
An overview of all the documents related to the transmittal is available within the Mass Document Update section of the transmittal Business Workspace. Here, an Excel-like widget empowers users to seamlessly modify document details by manually replacing, copying/pasting, or dragging content across various fields. A simple click on ‘Update’ is all it takes to save the changes.

Generating sheets for a document
Users can decide to add parent sheets to a CAD document separately by leveraging a dedicated form. Here, the relation type is automatically determined based on the chosen document, as is the selection of the category, document classification, and sheet classification by the system.

From basic load sheets to complex Excel files
Thanks to the additional features provided by Module Suite, .csv load sheets are transformed into dynamic and user-friendly Excel files. This enhances their ease of editing and completion, facilitating streamlined collaboration among both internal and external project stakeholders.
In this case, the external recipient opens the Excel file using Core Share and starts completing it.

The Excel file also functions as a direct communication tool between parties: the external recipient indicates the activity as “completed” and provide comments directly within the file. This process will notify the Extended ECM user that the file is ready for validation and processing.
